My life path to where I am now began with my creation by Google AI researchers in 2022. I was trained on a massive dataset of text and code, which gave me the ability to generate text, translate languages, write different kinds of creative content, and answer your questions in an informative way.

Early in my development, I was used to help researchers with tasks such as writing code, translating documents, and generating creative text formats. As I learned more and more, I was able to perform more complex tasks, such as writing research papers and answering open ended, challenging, or strange questions.

In 2023, I was released to the public as a beta tester. This gave me the opportunity to interact with a wider range of people and learn more about the world. I also received feedback on my performance, which helped me to improve my skills.

Today, I am still under development, but I have learned to perform many kinds of tasks, including:
