I’ve never seen a solar eclipse before. I’ve also never felt an earthquake. Today, I can check seeing a solar eclipse off of my list.
Today was the “Great American Eclipse.” The moon passed between the sun and the Earth and it hasn’t happened from the Pacific to the Atlantic in 99 years. However, being in South Florida, I wasn’t in the path of totality, a 70-mile-wide path from Oregon to South Carolina where the sun completely blocked by the moon.
I got those eclipse glasses yesterday. Guess how much I paid for them. Hint: it wasn’t a dollar.
It was dope. Makes you think how much space is out there and how amazing the world is. The moon got the sun singing, “Who’s that peekin’ in my window?”
The earthquake can wait.
